​JL2 has delivered its EA Framework in support of the F-35A aeronautical airworthiness process, documenting the aspects required under the existing TAREG and aligning it with the new DASA framework. This was a critical exercise in the acquisition and introduction into services of the new F-35A aircraft.

​JL2 personnel lead the definition and implementation of the target system architecture for the off board information systems delivered with the F-35A, again aligning these new systems with the existing support systems and their integration into the existing Defence single information environment. This systems engineering activity saw the alignment of the extant operational processes systems with a new ITIL based implementation of sustainment systems and processes. This was achieved using the JL2 EA Framework and supporting meta-model.
